Rooted in Fire Named One of Amazon’s Best Books of 2025

I’m filled with so much gratitude and excitement to share that Rooted in Fire has been selected as one of Amazon’s Best Books of 2025 in the Cookbooks category!

This recognition means more than words can express. When I began writing Rooted in Fire, I wanted to share the stories, traditions, and flavors that shaped my journey,

connecting my Native American and Mexican heritage through food. To see it celebrated among so many incredible authors and chefs is truly humbling.

The announcement aired live on CBS Mornings, followed by features in USA TODAY, About Amazon, and more. To top it off, Rooted in Fire is being featured on a five-story-tall billboard in New York City, right across from Penn Station, through December 12!
